Drum Recording Masterclass Tour

November 6th, 7th and 8th 2026 | Germany

In today’s music industry, the roles of drummer, recording engineer, and producer are increasingly intertwined. As drummers, we face the challenge of mastering not only playing and tuning, but also microphones, room acoustics and track processing.

Martina Barakoska and Jan Pohl will hold full day masterclasses in Berlin, Hannover and Hamburg, sharing their approach to recording drums and bridging the gap between home recording and high profile studios. The masterclass will be highly interactive: Participants will work with Martina and Jan to create different mic setups, dressing the drums for recording and processing the recorded drum tracks with different approaches to fit the artist’s/producer’s needs.

The recorded session files will be available for all participant after the masterclass.
